ROOM ACCESS

The 4-digit code you were sent as part of your booking confirmation (and by text) acts as your key. It gives you access to
the front door and to your room for the duration of your stay. No keys to lose and nothing to give back (or forget) when you leave.

Should you mislay your code during your stay, please call us on 0121 647 6454 or press the buzzer by the front door and we will re-issue you with a new code.

PARKING PERMITS

If you need parking during your stay, please use the purple permit you will find in your room and follow the instructions printed on it.

CHECKING OUT

Please check out by 11am on the day of your departure. For a small additional charge, we may be able to manage a later check-out. Please give us as much notice as possible if you would like us to try and arrange this.

If you have paid for your room in advance and have not treated yourself to any extras, there is nothing more to do. We will email you a copy of your invoice. If you need to settle up in person, please do so in the Sitting Room, or pop over to The High Field and we will prepare your account whilst you enjoy a coffee or breakfast.

FEEDBACK

If anything is not quite right, please talk to one of the team and they will do all they can to sort it out. We also greatly appreciate your feedback at the end of your stay, so please do fill in the comment card in your room if you have a moment.

BREAKFAST

The High Field is open all day every day (except Christmas Day). We serve breakfast from 7am on weekdays and from 9am at weekends. We were delighted recently to be named “the best place in Birmingham for breakfast” in The Birmingham Mail.

If you are in a hurry to shoot off in the morning, and would like breakfast to go, please call The High Field on on 0121 647 6454 any time after the start of breakfast service and they will have a hot drink and your choice of breakfast bagged and ready to go at the bar ten minutes later. All you have to do is pick it up on your way.

FOOD & DRINK IN THE TOWN HOUSE

Your room has tea and coffee-making facilities. There is also a Nespresso machine free for your use in the Sitting Room.

If you’re in the mood for something stronger, our Honesty Bar in the Sitting Room contains a selection of wine, beer and the makings of a decent gin & tonic. There is also a choice of sweets, crisps and treats to which you are very welcome. Please note down your choices, your name and room number on the pad provided. Post the completed sheet in the box and the items will be added to your account.

TV, RADIO, FILMS & MUSIC

Your television is equipped with Apple TV, giving you a vast library of things to watch besides the usual channels. It is also a radio and can be connected to your smartphone to play your own music. Full instructions can be found on the Welcome screen when you turn on the television.

BE CONNECTED – FREE WI-FI

We provide reliable free Wi-Fi. Please log on to The High Field Wi-Fi and surf away.

PAPERS

You will find a fresh selection of newspapers in the Sitting Room daily.

PRESSING A SHIRT

You will find an iron in your wardrobe and there are ironing boards stored in two marked cupboards on the ground and first floors. Please feel free to borrow one. It would be really helpful if you could return it later, for the use of other guests.

ASSISTANCE

If you need housekeeping or other assistance, please dial 0121 647 6454. There are telephones on the ground and first floor landings and in the Sitting Room if you would prefer to use one of them rather than your own phone.

In case of emergency, please dial 1 on one of the telephones provided and wait to be connected.

FIRE ALARM

If the fire alarm sounds, please leave the building immediately by the nearest signed exit and gather at the assembly point shown on the notice on your room door.

THE PUB NEXT DOOR

The High Field is just across the driveway from The Town House. We always serve the good stuff, top quality seasonal British food and drink, with a very warm welcome to match. We tend to be busy all year round, so please pop in or call to reserve a table if you’re planning to have lunch or dinner with us, which we really hope you will. There are lots of great places to eat in Birmingham these days, but our food and drink is certainly some of the best in the city.

Sunday lunch at The High Field has become a local institution. We serve a belting roast all day, but things can get hectic so please book to avoid the risk of a long wait for a table. The easiest ways to book are via www.highfieldedgbaston.co.uk or on 0121 647 6454.

EVENTS & PARTIES

The High Field has two private dining rooms, which can be linked to accommodate larger parties. We also
have a lovely garden, and two dining terraces. Various spaces can be booked for private celebrations, graduation dinners, conferences and seminars. There is no booking fee if the event includes food.

Our head chef and front of house team are very experienced in tailoring a menu to your needs. Sample menus are always available. Please come and have a chat about booking The High Field and The Town House together, or call us on 0121 647 6454.

SPA & BEAUTY TREATMENTS

If you wish to pamper yourself during your stay, we recommend Highfield Beauty
for a wide range of treatments including facials, massages and holistic treatments. Highfield Beauty is a separate business from The Town House, but they are friends and neighbours. The easiest way to book is via the links on our website – www. highfieldtownhouse.co.uk It is extremely conveniently located, next door (to the right) at 23a Highfield Road.
